Benefits and Issues with Connecting Square to Wave

Hello,

All the sales transactions are invoiced through Square. The cash is transferred into my bank and those transactions flow into Wave. If Square is connected to Wave then I would have to match each Square transaction to the bank feed transaction manually in Wave. I can get sales reports out of Square. I don't see what I have gained by connecting the two systems.
