Account Transaction doesn't match the Statement

Was doing my year-end accounting, and found out I had minus one cent in my Account Payable from a past year that suddenly appeared. Which puzzled me. Turns out a statement from November 2020 shows up $581,99 in the Account Transaction, and a payment of $582,00.
But when I look at the statement itself, it shows the (right) $582,00 amount with included taxes.
So I'm stuck with $-0,01 in my year end Account Balance, which is actually untrue. Help?
