Expense category not available in transactions screen

I imported all of my bank transactions and am trying to categorize them. When I click on the category drop down it is not showing me any expense categories?

    The transaction you're looking at has a green $97.94 amount. Green numbers in a transaction represent money coming into the account. This transaction looks like income or a refund. If it's an expense related transaction, you can choose "Refund for Expense" on the drop-down list and then pick the corresponding expense account.
