Handling Credit Card Charges and Paying My Credit Card

With my former accounting software, when I received my credit card statement, I would create a transaction for each entry as a debit to the proper account (category) and a credit to the credit card account. Then I would pay the credit card, making an entry showing cash leaving (crediting) the checking account and debiting the credit card account. I can't seem to figure out how to do that in WAVE. I don't need to enter CC charges as they're made - I'm a small company and can easily keep track of my upcoming CC balance each month. Thx very much. I'm brand new with WAVE and want this to work.
