For those using the new Wave features

I'm still on the old Wave platform but am hoping those that have already moved to the new Wave can answer my question (note: my home currency is CAD):

Are you finally able to quickly reconcile invoices with different currencies (match transaction to invoice)?

For example, if I invoice in HKD and my customer pays in USD will their invoice be visible/available when I click the "Make invoice payment" dropdown?

    Hi, @motorambler.

    No, not currently, invoices still need to be paid in the same currency they were issued in.

    My recommendation would be to record the payment from your invoice in HKD, transfer that HKD money to a USD account and then add a new transaction to account for any difference between the USD amount you received from the client and the one calculated by Wave. I'd make custom income and expense accounts to track those adjustments as well.
