client receiving non descriptive invoices

I fill out and prepare an invoice with all the details, project/descriptions etc yet and sample view it and it looks great, but when I send it to my customer to pay none of the descriptions are present nor any notes. The only way to get them to see everything is if I save it as a PDF and send it seperately through an email. Is this normal? It'd be nice to send it through the website/smartphone app but neither one works.

    Could you send me a private message with your client's email and the number of the invoice? It'll allow me to investigate this in a bit more depth.
