Can't delete unused sales tax

I accidentally created a additional sales tax and used it on a transaction.
I deleted the transaction that used it, but when I try to delete the sales tax I get a message that it's still used on "CBF".
I click through the link provided and it takes me to the transactions list, but there are no transactions called CBF.
The original transaction that used it was called CBF, but I deleted that.
It's almost as though Wave thinks the transaction is still there, even though it's not.
The sales tax report says there are no transactions for the sales tax I want to delete.
Please help.

Hi, @mvanr,
Can you tell me more about that transaction? Was it created from an uploaded receipt? If so, you'll have to delete that receipt as well. That might be what's causing this issue.
Hi Alexia, thanks for getting back to me. It may be as you've suggested, but I've subsequently found a use for the extra sales tax so I no longer need to delete it.
Thanks for letting me know, @mvanr!
Hi - I am experiencing the same issue. I have deleted all instances of the offending receipts but it still shows and won’t let me delete the errant sale tax. Is this a bug?
Hi, @Sugarbelle,
Yes, there is an issue preventing some users from deleting a sales tax, even when everything related to that tax was removed. We have been working on resolving this for some time and while I can give a timeline, I can follow-up here once I have an update. For now, I would recommend renaming it to something obvious that would make it hard to accidentally assign to a transaction.
