Indicating transfers in CSV import

Hi Wave Team,

How do I go about including transfers, i.e. from one bank account to another in a CSV import? I've attached the template in mind, which is based on the accounting data export CSV template.

Appreciate your advice on this, thanks.

    Hi, Fulcra,

    You wouldn't be able to do this from a single CSV, nor would that transfer be detected automatically. You'll have to categorize those two transactions manually.

    Once they are both entered into Wave, categorize one as "Transfer from a bank account, loan or credit card" and choose the other account when offered the option. Wave will automatically track down the matching transaction in the other account and match both transactions.
