Is there a way to directly enter a credit card as a means of on site sale.

My non-profit org holds an installation dinner once annually where we have a silent auction. Is there currently a way to enter a credit card payment and associate it with an income account without creating an invoice first? Creating an invoice and then having the customer pay is cumbersome and time-consuming.

Hi @Delta_Fly_1976 - thank you for reaching out! Should you receive this payment externally from Wave, you can always manually enter this using the 'Add Income' option on your Transactions page or create an invoice after you receive the payment and select 'Skip Sending' after saving it. You can then record the associated payment so it is accounted for accurately in your account.
If you are using Payments by Wave, I would encourage you to have a look at our Checkouts feature here, which we are hoping to roll out for all users. Otherwise, if you are paid via the standard credit card or bank payment method, an invoice would definitely have to be created first!
