Is Checkout for UK in the pipeline & cards are now named by Wave not Stripe

Quick two questions. After I logged back in after hearing about the recent announcements.

I am interested in the checkout functionality - will this come to the UK?

Also, I see on the website that it now says Wave payments. When I log in it still has my stripe account attached. I don't mind as they are the same transaction fees. But is this functionality now built into the wave platform? And if so, does this mean we are going to see more integration with other software? Tbh that would help me a lot.

edit: Wave seems much more response to loading pages etc. It feels really noticeable and beneficial as user experience.
