Issues when trying to record payment against an invoice

Hello,

From last 5-7 days, whenever I try to record a payment against an invoice, I get an error as follows: "Oops! There was an issue with recording your payment. Please try again."

Kindly help me resolve this issue as I need to send updated invoices to my clients for the payments that I have received.

I have cleared my cache, change browsers and use incognito mode.
