Enter a payment without a corresponding invoice

I tried searching for my question in existing threads so apologies if this is a repeat.
How do I enter income/payments that aren't a "sale" exactly, or more to the point, don't have an invoice? The precise situation I have in mind is as follows:
I put on a ticketed event and sell tickets through EventBrite. Tickets are $12 each and EventBrite takes a $2 cut of each one sold, so I get $10 for each ticket sold. We sell 250 tickets, and after the event happens, EventBrite sends me an etransfer for $2500.
How do I then enter that $2500 of income?

You might consider entering this as a simple transaction, which you can do from your Transactions page. Hit "Add Income" on the top right, and enter the details. Please let us know if you have any questions.
