Searching for customers by contact name

Is it possible to search for a customer using the contact name as well?

Hi @Yelena.

You can do this in the Customers page, but not when your choosing the customer for an invoice. There's a workaround, although it might take a bit of effort to set up.

The character limit on business names is pretty generous. You could change your client's name to a format like Business Name - Contact Name, which would allow you to search by contact name when you are looking to assign an invoice to a particular client.

If you do decide to go that route, you'll have to change those businesses' name on the Customers page manually.
