Can you run a report for a certain product? In other words, I pay royalties on my collegiate items. So If I have several items all for one university, I want to be able to run a report for a certain time period, for all the sales for that university. I have looked around on the site and can't find anywhere to be able to do that. Can you please let me know if that is an option?

I have more than one bank account, but I want to run P&L for just one of them - I can't see how to do that - is it possible?

Hey @JulieH! The best thing to do would be to go to the 'Account Transactions' report and then search for the sales account that is associated with the product. You can edit the dates to create the report for the timeframe you need! If you aren't sure what income account is associated with the product then you can head to the Sales -> Products & Services tab to check.

Hey @AccountingBaby! You can't run a Profit & Loss for just one account. I would recommend checking out the Account Transactions report or the Account Balances report as you can look at singular accounts there!

    Hey @James_Hudson
Thank you for the detailed explanation. Until the beginning of February 2020, I would export all data under the settings icon and would get the following excel extracts:-
    Accounting
    Bill Items
    Customers
    Invoice Items
    Payments
    Vendors
I discovered that the invoice item document no longer downloads, is there anything I have done to the settings?

How do I see how many of which product I have sold? This would be across multiple customers. For example, I'd like to see how many Lunches have been invoiced.

What does it mean if my Balance Sheet and Trial Balance for 2019 show one value for an account balance while the Account Transactions page for the same account and time period shows a different value? The Account Transaction page reconciles with my bank statement but the Balance Sheet and Trial Balance do not. Thanks in advance for your input!

Hey @obado! Unfortunately, for the time being, this is something that is not available to particular users within Wave. It sounds like you might be affected by this. I would recommend using Wave Connect in order to get your Invoice information easily exported.

@Tricia_J Sales by product is not a report that currently exists within Wave. I'm sorry for the inconvenience.

@UFAC_Tech Great question! I think I might need a little more information around this in order to troubleshoot this accurately. Can you let me know a little more around what you're seeing?

@ConnorM I put in a help request and a Customer Support Specialist ran a "reflow" on our account. That cleaned up the discrepancies. Thanks!

How can I generate a Profit & Loss on cash basis and balance sheet on cash basis? My accountant is requesting it do my taxes. There is no option.

The Trial Balance Report does not show all accounts that have a balance at a given date! The same issue has the Account Balances Report. I've seen postings from other people on community help regarding that issue. Are you going to fix it? The incomplete information is very misleading!!!

Hi @Milenita! As Wave works on an accrual method not all reports have the functionality to switch to cash reporting. We have a Wave guide that walks through the process of using Cash Based workarounds that might help: Cash based workarounds.

Hi @MartaP! I'm sorry to hear about the issues you're having with your report. Is it the same accounts missing from both reports? If so, what account types are they? Are you able to share some screenshots showing the issue? Feel free to remove any sensitive data from the screenshot before sharing.

Would be nice if there was a way to Print my Chart of Accounts in a single report, sorted by account number, and includes account number, account name, account type, and description. If there's no report available, then an Export of the data to a .CSV format then. We use a printed chart of accounts to code transactions "before entry" (especially on CC statements) to make data entry fast and accurate. Thanks for any help or support you can provide. Hey @Richard_Witter

At this time there is no way to print your CoA. I do appreciate you bringing up this feature idea in our community and if there is a release of this feature in the future our team will notify the community.
