Dealing with a tax cap when invoicing.

I am trying to figure out a way to deal with a tax cap while using Wave. I am hoping someone has already encountered this challenge and solved it

We sell boats - in our state - the tax on a boat is 8% up to $500 - so once you have hit the $500 cap even if its a $100,000 boat the tax is still $500.

Any idea on how to deal with this in Wave?

Hey @tprice1167 ! As of right now, there isn't a way to for us to automatically factor in a tax cap on Sales via an invoice. With that said, you would need to sort this out manually by calculating the point to which the tax on the item would be $500 and then adding a new line item for the rest that is untaxed.
