Recipts auto catergorize

Can recipts be setup to auto catergorize recipts ie all shell recipts are gas are business , cash? Would save so much time entering common recipts

    Hey @Mattme . Currently you do have to categorize the receipts yourself for Wave to post these to your Accounting. How often do you find yourselves uploading Receipts into Wave? Do you typically use the mobile app? Any insight into your business workflow would help us to better understand how this feature would help you out.

    I always use the mobile app to add recipts, I even take photos of recipts I get online so they all go into wave recipts. Many are same ie shell gas, how hard would it be to for you to add a button that says “always use same payment method, business account & catetgory for “shell” recipts. Its a simple programming addition that could be done in minutes ( yes I program databases)..

    Would be awsome !
