Export Vendor & Customer List

Is it possible to export the list of vendors & customers from Wave?

Hey @Caren, definitely! There are two ways to do so at the moment. One would be to head over to Settings > Data Export, and selecting the Accounting/Transactions option, which should send you an email with a number of CSV files. These files will include your Vendor and Customer lists.

The other option would be to integrate Google Sheets with Wave via Wave Connect. This way you could export specifically to a spreadsheet (and import into another Wave account, or into another platform if they also support Google Sheets). You can find out more here

The INTERESTING thing is that the format of the Vendor Export file (vendor.csv) is DIFFERENT from the Vendor Import required format, so if I export a vendor list from one company I have to spend valuable time reformatting, changing headers, rechecking data.... before I can import into another company.

Can somebody please tell a product manager or a developer that this is "silly"
