Incorrect invoice linked to a payment

I mistakenly linked the incorrect invoice to a payment in 'Transactions'. Is there any way of removing the payment & invoice link without deleting the transition?

I mistakenly linked the incorrect invoice to a payment in 'Transactions'. Is there any way of removing the payment & invoice link without deleting the transition?

I've actually worked this out, no need to respond.
I went back to the invoice and deleted the payment (essentially the payment was allocated to the wrong invoice) and I then went and merged the payment with to correct invoice in transactions. That seemed to work
