@Mich Interesting! I'm curious, why would you not like to have a customer payment allocated to a specific invoice? What's the situation?
Is this for invoices you created to be paid through Wave? If not, you can just categorize an income deposit as a regular 'Customer Payment' (after creating this income account in your Chart of Accounts). That way, the income transaction would be categorized but it would not be associated with a specific invoice.
Looking forward to hearing more about what you'd like to see Wave do!
