Backing up wave data

Good day all
I understand that wave saves its data on the cloud , which is backed up. But just for peace-of mind I would like to back it up as well.

I googled it and it explained .... under settings there is a place to request a backup.
ITs now 12 hours and I still have not received a mail ???

    Not really the answer you need BUT you could download your data through Wave Connect - very cumbersome of course but would preserve your data locally - I'm not aware of an independent backup facility that would facilitate local storage.

    @John_Longland1 This is actually a known issue that our engineering team is currently investigating. We still currently don't have an ETA as to when this will be resolved at the moment I'm afraid, but it should be within the next few weeks. Appreciate your patience for the time being and as Andrew stated above, Wave Connect will be your best bet in the meantime.
