Seperate Taxable amount and Tax amount in Bills/Reciept

Hi,
I need to keep track of Taxable amount in each bill and tax for the bill. Example.
there are 10 items in a bill, each is $10 but out of that only 4 item is taxable. So the taxable amount is 4x$10=$40 Tax for this amount is = $40 x6%=$2.4, Total bill amount is $102.4
the bill will already have taxable amount separately as well bill total.
My goal is
Taxable Amount Tax In this Bill Bill Total
$40 $2.40 $102.40
Currently I can enter TAX and BILL TOTAL , how can I introduce a column to track taxable amount ?

Hi @dwijadas.
There's currently no way to add more fields to an invoice or a bill. And you won't be able to automatically calculate sub-totals for parts of an invoice or bill, either.
You can assign taxes on an item by item basis, so that taxes aren't paid for every product or service you offer, you just have to enter separate items as separate lines, and choose a tax where applicable in the Tax field.
Can you tell me a little bit more about how that information would be useful to you? In what specific context would you be using it to help out in managing your business?
