Credit Card Payable in the new "Transactions" dashboard

In the old version of the "transactions" dashboard I would make two transactions. An expense to my bank account and an income to your credit. Then select both transactions and click on the transfer button. This will categorize both transactions as the two sides of a transfer. With the new format I am TOTALLY lost. Question...how do I relieve the "credit card payable" account correctly with the new dashboard? The expense transaction is already there because it imported from my bank. How do I apply the "income" side so the "credit card payable" account is reduced/relieved?

Hey there @offthehoofbbq_1969
So since our new reconciliation tool is meant to emulate your transactions as closely to your bank account, this type of transaction is done a bit more manually. Our new split transaction feature allows you to only split between two of the same account (ie if your transaction is an income, you can split amongst two income accounts, same for expenses. The only exception is to split an income into merchant account expense fees).
However that being said, if you'd like to split your transaction as you used to in the previous version, you can delete the bank imported transaction and manually create two separate transactions from your transactions page. I understand this is not ideal, however since our new version is focused around reconciling your accounts as they are in real time, this is how our team has decided to move forward until future updates of course!
thank you for the reply however, this doesn't tell me "how" to do it. Are you saying the only way to do it is delete the imported transaction then create all three needed transactions to do it the old way?
Hey @offthehoofbbq_1969! Just reading over this, it sounds like you might be trying to find out how to categorize a credit card payment in the new version of Wave? If so, the steps in this Wave guide should walk you through the process - how to create a transfer between two accounts!
