Wave charged my client more than I invoiced

I was just informed that my client (a tax exempt school) was charged $30 tax. I never add tax because I am a service provider. My invoice said $200, Wave sent me notice that they paid me $200, the school says they were charged $200+$30 tax to their cc. Is someone at WAVE stealing?

Hey @Kiwhite! After looking into your payments profile, I can see that your invoice was for $200, and the payment was $200. That's direct confirmation on the invoice itself - if your customer is seeing another charge surrounding that, then that would be on their end. I can assure you wholeheartedly that nobody at Wave would have their hands in your clients' pockets. I'd suggest confirming with your client that they were billed that extra $30 and getting a screenshot. I'd love to try to help you troubleshoot this!
