Automatic Bank Transfer Matching

I have a list of bank transfers.

That is, for example:

1) Transfer from Savings to Checking $500
2) Transfer to Checking from Savings $500

I understand the system is supposed to recognize that and show up in the category pull down.

But it doesn't.

Short of just deleting both transactions, what do I do?

    As long as one side is income and the other side is expenses, the first category on your drop-down is supposed to be Transfer to a bank, credit card or loan. You can choose the specific account after.

    If it can find the matching transaction, wave will match up both sides of the transfer. If it can't find a match, it'll create one.
