Is there a way to enter my total sales for the day without an invoice?

We already have a system that keeps track of our clients and transactions and I'm just wondering if there's a way to enter the total sales for the day? It might not always match up with what the debit/credit totals are going in each day as we allow people to put things on account, so I need a way to separate this.

Hi @mmackinnon . You can always enter your income for the day and categorize it as Sales. To add an Income transaction, head to Accounting > Transactions and click "Add Income" in the top right corner of the page. Don't forget to categorize it to the right income account!

Thank you. My only concern is when my debit income gets sent to my banking account then it’s doubled. Does that make sense?
Our debit slips do not always match our total for the day as we allow clients to put things on account
