change account type

Dear all Wave community ,
how i can change account type from Expected customer receivable to Property, plant , equipment ... the app doesn't allow this action ... the account has many recorded transaction ... and it was wrongly categorised by the app when upgraded ... i need this action for a number of accounts Regards ... Faris

    Hey there @haddadfamily_jordan

    Unfortunately you are unable to change an account type when there are recorded transactions in it. However the workaround is as follows:

    1. Create a new property plant equipment account.
    2. Head to your transactions page use the filter button at the top to filter out your old account which you want changed.
    3. Once you see all of the transactions for this old account, use the select all check box at the top of the transactions page to check off all of the transactions head.
    4. Select the edit tool and the top and move the transactions into the newly created account.
