2.5% Settlement Discount for Customers

Good Day
We offer our customers a 2.5% settlement discount if they pay within 30 days. How do I process this in Wave if a customer makes payment within this time?
How will this reflect on their monthly statement?

Typically you can make an update to your invoice and it should update on your client's end as well. I'm curious if you can start your invoices with a 2.5% discount and create calendar reminders (outside of Wave) then delete those discounts and send an invoice reminder to your client. This should update them on the new invoice amount. I understand that this is a workaround however it seems that it would be the only way to do achieve this as there is no automation in Wave that can do this.
