Product/Item Descriptions

Hi Everyone.

I'm a web developer and I'm using Wave to bill my customers. I charge a flat hourly rate for different products but I update the product description on each item to tell my customer what I did for them. Currently I have 100+ items with the same title but different descriptions. Can I just have a single item and change the description each time? Will this effect other invoices that have the same item/product on them?

    Hey @MattS

    Thanks for reaching our in our community and offering a use-case scenario on how your business operates with Wave. Currently this is the proposed method of adding a similar item with a different description on your invoices. If you make a change to your description it will live update all of your invoices previously sent so you would need to create a new item each time.
