Hello,

is there a way to adjust the fields on the invoice to save on space ?
We are using the Contemporary template, all is fine but quantity rate and price fields take up almost half the page, where description has very small space when we add items with long description, it creates unnecessary additional pages and invoices are left half blank due to this layout design

Hey there @Petrocelly

This type of specific invoice customization is not available in Wave. If you head to Settings >> Invoice customization, you'll notice the different customization settings that we have to offer here however when it comes to spacing you may find this is a bit limited.

I tend to agree with the previous comment about the layout of invoices. The client will be most interested in the description of the service. Yet, the current layout of the invoice is quite inefficient and dedicates most of the invoice to a few columns that really don't need the space. For example the quantity, rate, and price fields are merely 1-4 digits each in length and in fact could even be stacked. However, the description column is where majority of the content will need to go. The problem with the current layout is that it's forcing the invoice to be multiple pages in length which could be avoidable if the layout is more efficient to reduce invoices to a single page.
