How do I delete a liability account?

Just getting started. Manual upload of Capital One credit card since it won't connect. Uploaded as a liability ... then realized it was already there as a credit card so all transactions are duplicated and my numbers are off. Need to delete the entire liability account.

    @AJH,
    Accounts can only be archived and not deleted. To remove the transactions from an account they are incorrectly posted to go to Accounting/Transactions. From the box that has the balance, drop down and select the account you wish to delete transactions. Now your transaction journal only shows transactions from that account. Make sure in your view all transactions are listed. You may need to scroll to the bottom and click on More Transactions until all are displayed. Scroll back to the top and click select all. Now click delete.
