I use another program where I do my invoices. I want to do the bookkeeping using the bank statements. Is this possible?

Yep, it is not a problem. I have clients who do the same thing. We use Wave for general bookkeeping and reporting for taxes. You would need to enter opening balances. From there you would have to decide whether to connect your bank for auto importing or manually enter each receipt and disbursement. Best of luck!
