Retiring Products

Looking for a way to "retire" products that are no longer being bought / sold. Anyone have a solution for this?

    Hey @scott99 !

    I'm afraid that Wave doesn't currently support a "retire" option. If you'd like to delete any saved products or services in your Wave account, you can do so by heading over to Sales/Purchases > Products & Services and pressing the trash bin icon beside the product/service in question.

    Thanks @JulianP ... I'm aware of the option to delete a product; however, if that product is on an invoice, then it can't be deleted. That basically means if I've ever sold a named product, it must remain in my Products & Services forever, which makes managing Products & Services very cumbersome if not nearly impossible.

    I have edited the name on these pages where names or accounts have become 'retired'.
    I just edit "Product Name" to "xx Product Name" or "Account" to "xx Account".
    It just drop down to the bottom of the list. If as you say, it's a long list you will never see it.
