Is all LLC S-Corp payroll treated as an expense?

Say I pay an employee a gross pay of 50k. My payroll company may pull 50k for this salary, and other increments for employers portion of unemployment, FICA, etc.

Do I report all of this as a payroll expense?

I am using waveapps and cash accounting.

    @dontworryaboutit,
    Employers take a deduction for gross wages paid to employees. In addition, you would take a deduction for employer paid taxes. They are separate expenses. So for example, this is what I would expect to see based on your number above and assuming a 2% rate on first 7k of wages for state unemployment.
    Salary and Wage Expense - 50,000.00
    Employer tax expense - 4,007.00
    (50,0007.65%+7,0002% (SUI)+7,000*.006 (FUTA)
    If you are using Wave for payroll, it will record the entries for you. You will however, have to merge duplicate entries such as net pay debited from the bank and the net pay Wave created.
