Re: No payment option on my account
Hey @vizion - you could export all your data by heading over to Settings > Data Export, and one of the CSV files that would be generated would be your product list. If you have (or are interested in signing up for) a Google account, you could also use our integration with Google Sheets to specifically export a product list into a spreadsheet. You can find out more about that here.
Sorting by amount
I've just sat down to do my last quater's accounts. The first time I've really got to use Wave since the update
The ability to sort transactions by amount in acounting has gone! Why would you get rid of this Wave? You can only sort by date now, more or less useless in ths context.
The best way I found to go through my accounts is to enter and confirm the receipts, then go into acounting, constraing the view to one month, SORT BY AMOUNT, then go through and merge and confirm all the transactions of the same value, which takes seconds because they are all on consecutive rows. I often have receipts or bills that aren't on the same date as the expendiature.
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE bring back the sorting options other than by date, it's crazy! I'm finding the new interface very slow to work with so far, largely due to the lack of sorting options. This also means mistakes are much more likely to happen. Or receipts and transactions not being assigned to one another correctly. 40 minutes so far and O've only got through about 5 transactions. I would have done the whole quater by now in the previous version, at this rate it's going to take me weeks!
Re: Convert Estimate to Invoice
Hey @Starik70, thanks for taking the time to get back to me with that! That makes a lot of sense, and I agree that a long list of estimates can get confusing, especially when it's not clear which ones have been converted to invoices and which ones haven't. I will definitely pass your feedback and suggestions along, knowing exactly how different features would benefit you and the running of your business is extremely beneficial in the planning of future updates!
Re: Page Not Found (Error code: 404)
Hey @Ferida, thanks for following up to let us know things are better on Edge! We typically recommend users to veer away from Safari/Internet Explorer because Edge, Chrome and Firefox tend to be a lot more compatible!
Re: How to show a discount on an invoice
@webcastlenz thanks for the feedback; I can't say if this'll change or not, purely because it's baked into the accounting and invoicing nomenclature for representing negative amounts, although all feedback is welcome!
Re: What does reviewing a transaction do?
Why have you take the verified transactions balance from the transactions page. Please bring it back this was very useful
Re: What does reviewing a transaction do?
Where is the verify all button? I heard developer hate to press Shift button cause it would take extra effort.
Then why you let us to click reviewed every transactions? thousands of it.
Ridiculously bad GUI.

Re: retained earnings/draw
I think it just took Wave a minute to reflect the change. When I signed out and then went back to the Dashboard everything looked correct. The income was not affected after all.
Client Tax/VAT details on estimate or invoice
I am based in South Africa and it is law to include both the supplier (myself) and the customers tax/VAT number on the invoice. I cant find any customisation on the Customer area to include this information?
Re: Wave Connect: Easily import and export data with Wave's Google Sheets add-on

We don't offer any tools for working with PDF, but I've heard good things about https://www.pdftoexcel.com/ as a free online tool for converting from PDF to spreadsheet format.
If you try it, please let us all know how you get on.
Thank you for the tip @PaulC,
All in all, I found pdftoexcel a good fit for munging PDF into spreadsheet for use with Wave Connect. The extraction of data from the PDF was decent, but did require a little polishing afterwards. It took just a few seconds to fix. The validation tooling of Wave Connect was very helpful here.
Uploading of monthly CC statements to pdftoexcel site was a bit concerning, though after a bit of research (privacy policy, data retention standards, general legitimacy, overall content w/in my statements), I ended up not really caring. pdftoexcel did not appear to support processing of many statements at once (for free).
Adobe's free trial of Acrobat Pro DC could be used to combine PDF's to assist with bulk processing, though it's export to Excel/CSV/spreadsheet was horrible.
I found Tabula (https://tabula.technology) to be the best free tool for the job. It's easy to run, intuitive to use, does not require uploading data to third party, and made quick work of many statements.
Hope this can help others in similar situation of getting PDF statements into Wave.

Alex
