I wish I could "pre approve" payroll and schedule the day I want it to be processed. Our week ends on Friday, so I usually finalize hours anywhere from Saturday to Monday and then I have to remember to go back in and hit the button to "approve payroll" on Tuesday for pay day to be on Friday. I only need to run payroll once or twice a year, I am my company's single employee. Does anybody else do this? It doesn't seem worth paying for the service. Can I just put in a journal entry and move all the money around manually?

We have an hourly training wage, and their regular hourly wage. It would be extremely helpful during payroll if there was 2 different wages, as it's common for employees to have a combination during the same pay-period. Hi Love Wave and I recommend it to all my small business clients. One small suggestion for the Wages and Tax Report for Canada. When a business reports their period payroll and remits source deductions, they use this report. It has all the key info BUT it would be great if the report totaled all the amounts owing to the CRA on the far right side…

I run a small design studio and pay our artists on a flat rate, a daily rate, or a weekly rate. As far as I can tell this still jives with NY State law regarding work hour exceptions for specialized fields - but there isn't a way to set up this payment in Wave yet. It would be great! Hey guys, love the new look of Wave. I was wondering why you don't allow people to run payroll through Waves, if you're living outside of North America dn i there's any chance of that being changed soon? It annoys me that I have to use an accountants payroll system when I want to be able to do everything in here. I live in the UK btw.
