I have a California LLC for my day job (consulting). I am building a web-based membership site as well. I do not want to create another LLC because I don't want to pay the $800 minimum tax again, so I'm going to operate the online business as a DBA under the LLC. Within Wave, do I need to have open (and pay for) a separate bank account for the on…

Since the new design I am having troubles to split transactions as before. I am quite fine if Airbnb sends us one transaction and I just need to split it between the rental income and the fee. However if Airbnb sends 2-3 transactions together in one payment and I need to split it among 2-3 guests and their rental income and fees, I am lost as the …

I was trying to import CSV bank files. One file went great, with > 30 entries. The other one, with only 10 entries, only the latest 5 rows showed up . The earliest ones did not show up. Try changing the date format to YYYY-MM-DD as suggested in the forum with no improvement. Any suggestion welcome. Thank you Ben

I'm not an accountant I'm part of a not for profit which decide to use and since our books are so basic. I know it's an invoicing app, but occasionally we need to pay a bill for something. Can I do that and if so, where? It makes the banking link a bit pointless otherwise.

Hi all. I am evaluating Wave for a start-up / small business. As most users seem to be from USA & Canada, I'd be really interested to hear from European users, particularly from Ireland, about their experiences usin Wave. Do European banks integrate well ? So i went back to excel & eventually moved to Quickbooks , which is a confusing nightmare. I'd like to move BACK to wave but I'm not sure if WAVE now has everything I want & need to run my business. Before I schedu…

Hi to all. I keep the books for a small family run Non-profit ministry. Our accounting is really simple. I have used Quickbooks Desktop for twenty years, but Inuit has really abandoned the program because it is trying to force all of the Desktop users to switch to Quickbooks online. I was recently forced to upgrade to the 2020 version of Quick…

I have read a few posts on this topic and it seems like there is no option but wanted to be sure. To put it in terms of wave: When I create an invoice I add an item. I put in a value and a quantity. I need to track that quantity in wave. So for example I set 500 items, and the system tracks it for me. When it hits x% I get an alert. In term of g…
