@JosephG Welcome to the Wave Community! As Wave doesn't have the capability to tracking inventory by unit yet, the ability to import unit quantities for a product is not included through Wave Connect, I'm afraid. In full transparency, it may be something that we revisit in the future, however for 2019, it is not something that is on the current roadmap.
@Amaranatho The transactions upload feature in Wave Connect is limited to the most updated version of Wave, and it sounds like your Wave account is still waiting to be updated. We are currently working on migrating the remaining Wavers who are still on the classic version of Wave, so in the meantime, you can upload your transactions through a .csv.
Hey @Amaranatho. We're hoping to start the migration process as soon as possible. You will receive an email letting you know this is happening (when it does) and then you can expect to use the features that are available to you (with the latest version of our software).
Hi, I tried and failed to upload invoices in Wave Connect. it is stuck in step 3 (blue squares blinking for 10 mins. I'm only trying to upload 1 invoice. Can you help me to check what is the issue?
Hi, I really like the feature of Data Exporting, but I notice that the export process is exporting all whole data that recorded in Wave app without specifying a time range for this data. So, I'm looking for a feature to be possible to specify a time range for data that we want to export. this really would be helpful for my monthly data backup and it will be easier than exporting all data every month.
Are steps 1 and 2 all good and validated properly?
If so this might be a browser connection issue. Have you tried clearing your cache and browsing data in Chrome? Also if you're not using Chrome browser I'd recommend trying that. Let us know if you're having any trouble. Be sure to go through the fields line by line and ensure that they are correct before trying to validate. Hopefully this works out for you!
I merged your question into this thread as I thought it might be an ideal place to discuss our newest tool Wave Connect which can be downloaded HERE. Essentially it allows you to upload or download your data into a google spreadsheet. Check out the article for more information. But in regards to your question about downloading invoices from a certain date range check out this image from the filter tool in Wave Connect:
As you can see the filters page allows you to download according to a date range. Give this a try and let us know if you have ay success!

Thanks @Barsin for your help, this addon is really good and helpful. But I hope in the future updates Waveapps add an option in "Wave Connect" to give us the ability to export "items per invoice" data to the google sheet.
Thanks again for your help.
EDIT: Wohoo! I found the solution finally. I have to choose "Invoice Date and Line Items" from "Data to Download". Now I can export items per invoice to google sheet.
Many thanks @Barsin for helping me with this addon.
A good add-on for google sheet to export your Invoices data. But what about exporting Bills to google sheet using Wave Connect?
I wish to add this feature in next updates.
Hi @Abdelaziz ! Welcome to the Wave Community! I am happy to see that you were able to to work with @Barsin to find a solution
I checked in with the Integrations team here at Wave and I'm afraid that the ability to export Bills through Wave Connect is not something that can be expected in the near future. Though, this certainly does not mean that it will never happen.
To put some context behind this, the reason that this feature is not currently being worked on is that the Bills page in Wave is built in such a way that makes it hard for integrations to get data.
Thanks for taking the time to share your feedback though! We really do appreciate it. Sharing your thoughts about features you would like to see in Wave through the Community is a great way for those requests to gain traction. Community posts and discussions provide our product team with a wealth of use cases to pull from when prioritizing our roadmap in the future.
I am trying to upload invoices via Google Sheet. Validation works fine but the upload step never finishes. It keeps loading the blue loader and nothing happens. I have tried Chrome, Firefox and Safari , including incognito modes. It doesn't work
Someone please provide a solution. I wrote to @Barsin , but haven't received a response yet.
Hi @Asijamanish , welcome to the Wave Community! I am sorry to hear that your are experiencing this issue with Wave Connect. I have sent you an email to the primary email address you have on file. I would be happy to look into this issue with you!
Is there any way to automate Wave Connect to automatically download or upload data?
I was looking into it via Google Sheet's Macros and Script Editor but I don't really know what I am doing and I am not sure how to direct functions to Wave Connect.
I have been trying to upload billing invoices from Wave Connect. Step 2 Validate Data takes too long especially when I have more than 1 invoice to upload. When it takes longer than 5 minutes I have to switch to doing something else and then come back. Can you improve the validation or uploading speed? With its current speed, it's faster for us to create invoices directly from Wave Apps.
Hey @Adam_B . You have to actually import the data into the sheet for it to import, so you wouldn't be able to automate it in any way.
@Zoe5 I'll pass this onto the team so they know that a user is having issues with the length of time that it takes to verify, although in full transparency I can't say whether or not this is something that they'll be able to fix. Regardless, I'll let them know
Hi @alexlewiszarkos, just to clarify, I was implying that the data would be imported when downloaded so are you sure there's no way to automate the import/download process? Perhaps if users had access to Wave Connect's script, we could create a schedule via a Google Sheet Macro to automatically import/download our data from Wave. Alternatively, creating an option to set the import/download process on a schedule would be even better.
Any insight as to whether or not users will be able to have access to Wave Connect's script or if an automated scheduling feature will be implemented anytime soon?
When i want to upload transactions the transaction date in in wave is -1 day compared to the date I have in google sheets (date in google sheet is just yyyy/mm/dd) So for example in google sheets it says 2019/08/07. After importing into waves the transaction date in wave is 6th of august (-1 day).
Also after importing the transactions succesfully the date in the google sheet is changed with -1 day (and turned into a formula =HYPERLINK(.............,"2019-08-06")
@Adam_B Thanks for detailing how automating the download process would be a desirable feature for you! I'm afraid this is not an available feature and it's not on the foreseeable roadmap. I wish I had better news!
@roberth709 I'm sorry to hear you're having this issue. It seems other users have seen this as well and the issue has been raised to Paul, one of our developers. Here's the scoop:
Paul has tracked down how Google Spreadsheets represents dates - midnight (00:00) in the spreadsheet timezone. Since we are always passing dates to Wave in Eastern time, customers in the UK (or Newfoundland!) will see the date click back to the day before.
After investigating, Paul has identified a fix for the Transaction Date issue, but still needs to test extensively to ensure it does not disturb any other functionality in any timezone. That being said, it could be a couple of weeks before (or possibly more) before Paul is comfortable updating the application with Google. Happily, a good workaround would be to set your spreadsheet timezone to EST. That way, the transaction dates will match with Wave.
Hi there! Can I use the Upload > Bank Transactions feature to upload credit card transactions? If so, how do I add another account (other than Cash on Hand which is the default) to upload to?
Hey @ghosthollow! This is definitely possible in Wave. You will want to first make sure that you've created the correct account under the 'Chart of Accounts' section in Wave. From here, you should be able to go to the Transactions page, upload the bank statement (for your credit card) and then make sure that it's imported/associated with that account when you do so. I feel as though this help centre article should provide more insight here: https://support.waveapps.com/hc/en-us/articles/208621556-Upload-bank-and-credit-card-statements
Hi! I'm new to Wave and I've started to upload my Transactions using the Google Sheets Add-on. It's taking a over an hour to complete and I'm wondering if there's an issue. Also, I'm using Google Chrome. Thanks.
Update
Disregard. I was using the wrong date format. Although it was validating my data and allowing me to go to the third step, it was incorrect.
Hi, I'm trying to import less than 30 invoices, only 7 columns of data. The data validates but doesn't seem to be uploading. The blue progress dots churn and churn but this seems like an excessive amount of time for this amount of data.
Not sure where to start with troubleshooting. Could it be a date format issue like @chinrub was encountering? What is the correct date format? I'm copying data from a QBO export to .xls. Thanks.
Your CSV import fails to load my 270 vendors (yet gives me a green checkmark -- lovely). "We failed to import 270 invalid vendors." Then I try this feature and there's no option to upload Vendors. Any other options, please?
@kbxyz It looks like we're actually experiencing an issue with Wave Connect which could be interfering with your ability to import Invoices. It is identified and the team is working on a fix, so I'd check back in a few days or early next week to see if the fix has been implemented.
@MGC2865 sorry about the green check mark confusion! The .csv file will not pull more than 100 line items at once. I'd advise splitting your .csv up into ~90 line items to see if that works.
Are there still issues with the wave connect invoice upload? I'm trying to import invoices, at first I was trying to do several hundred, then saw a message to keep it under 100, but even doing 10 and despite the data validating, i just get the blue dots when attempting an import. I really want to migrate over to Wave but this is holding me back.
Thanks for your patience with this as our team continues to investigate this matter. We apologize for the inconvenience this causes your business. When this feature is up and running it proves to be incredibly valuable, however it's currently down.

Hello @JordanFromWave , how about prioritise my account for an update, as I will soon lose the function of automatic update for bank being in the UK

Instructions are not complete and I could not follow them and spent hours trying to figure it out. Pretty much a disappointment.
Hey @beliciousbeth . If you break down exactly where you're having the issue, someone should be able to point you in the right direction.
